About the Character

ㅤPersonality:ㅤ A'lasse is a friendly, kind, somewhat naive young woman. Although she is very shy and almost timid at first, she eventually warms up to those around her after spending enough time with them. Once she is comfortable, she is very bubbly and excitable, and will even start expressing her thoughts and feelings instead of keeping them to herself. However, she tends to become depressed, anxious, or afraid when recalling her past. Despite this, or perhaps because of it, she does everything she can to protect and care for those around her. She has what some may call an "overdeveloped" sense of justice and cares about doing what's right, even if it comes at a great personal cost. She cannot bear to see anyone around her suffering or in pain when she can do something about it, and will never turn her back on anyone in need.

ㅤBiography:ㅤ A'lasse was never supposed to exist. From the moment of her conception, the curse of the void had taken a hold of her soul; and resisting would mean her death. She was created to be the vessel for a powerful voidsent being that could bring destruction and massacre to Eorzea; the plan of a megalomaniacal madman bent on the ludicrous idea of dominating Eorzea using the voidsent's power. Initially, she is unaware of her abilities, or the curse—rather, the entity—that lies dormant within her. Her only clues are the sigil on her chest, and her curiously bright, blue eyes.— The finer details of her backstory are too lengthy to type here. Her complete history is best learned through interacting with her. —

On the Road:
A'lasse is an adventurer; she spends her days helping anyone and everyone she can. Despite being half voidsent, causing her to be unable to utilize aetherytes, it hasn't dampened her love of traveling. Her home may be in the Lavender Beds, but she will seldom be found there. She is almost always seeking her next adventure.
Sweets, Sweets, & More Sweets:
Possessed of an incurable sweet tooth, she usually has cookies or some other homemade treat with her. She is always willing to share whatever she has with anyone who asks; she never boasts or brags, but she would be happy to admit that she made them herself. Feel free to ask her for a sample or two!
Nightingale:
A'lasse loves to sing, and can sing quite well. However, performing in front of others makes her nervous; when she feels the urge to sing, she nestles herself somewhere out of sight and sings whatever melody comes to mind. Those who happened to have heard her have lovingly nicknamed her the 'Nightingale', and wonder who she is.
An Icy Warmth:
One of A'lasse's most defining features is her eyes; they are an almost unnatural shade of blue. In the right lighting, her irises seem to glow, accentuating this feature of hers. Despite their icy hue, A'lasse's gaze is often warm, even comforting, when she looks at you.
